Nice video. I think I could point at someone/something using chopsticks so it was worth watching and learning it (well, I dont use chopsticks often though
).
PS. Again code dosnt work work here (on main page works).
Thanks, ziemek8.
I noticed you guys don’t wear wedding rings but you two are still husband and wife. Did you guys do something different than traditional ceremony or do you just not wear them?
I have a wedding ring, but I don’t wear it to work. So I tend to forget to wear it. Good catch though
We’ll make sure to wear one, just to avoid the confusion
Haha I’m not demanding you wear it but I’ve noticed you guys don’t wear them. I was kind of hoping to hear you say you had a special Japanese ceremony and didn’t use wedding rings, like an interesting story. I wouldn’t know much about the Japanese ceremonies but I did live in Okinawa until about 6 months ago. I miss it so much…
We just recorded the podcast, and both of us realized, once again, we had failed to wear our rings…
Haha I noticed. Glad to know I was remembered.
Dear Mr and Mrs ShibataBread,
I’m waiting for the new podcast
and it seems many people cannot use chopstick properly,
even my sister that live in China for 2 years cannot use it properly
I can do it properly though
Thank you, Avenger.
I’m on the midst of editing the podcast right now. Hopefully, I can get this out to you very soon.
Stay tuned!
I noticed you did not mention the habit of chewing on your chop sticks, even to the point of picking one’s teeth with them. I’ve seen this a few times myself (mostly by Americans) and was wondering if this too is frowned upon.
Thanks, Ramon.
Licking, nibbling, and biting on the chopsticks are considered bad chopsticks mannerism in Japan.
There’s more chopsticks etiquette that we didn’t cover, but might film part2 in a future.
